Giveaways

Giveaways pick one or more winners after a duration. Create them with /giveaway. Only behaviour exposed by that command is supported.

• /giveawayCreate and manage giveaways.

Creating a giveaway

• Prize — a short description of what the winner receives. Oxy records the text; it does not fulfil a shop item unless some other system does.
• Duration — how long members can enter. Use the duration format the command accepts.
• Number of winners — at least one. Do not set more winners than realistic entrants.

Ending and winner selection

When the duration elapses, Oxy ends the giveaway and selects winners from the entrants. Staff may also be able to end early if the command exposes that action. Selection is random among valid entrants.

Rerolling

Rerolling is available where the installed version supports it. If /giveaway has no reroll action, it is not supported in your build — this site will not describe a hidden subcommand.
