Tickets

Create ticket categories, staff access, channels, closing, and logs.

Tickets give members a private channel with staff. A member opens a ticket, Oxy creates a channel in the configured category, staff can see it, and someone closes it when the work is done.

  • /ticketsOpen or manage tickets.
  • /settingsTicket categories, staff access, and logs.

Creating tickets

Members create a ticket with /tickets or from a panel if your version provides one. Oxy uses the category you configured. If creation fails, the bot is usually missing Manage Channels, or the category is unset.

Ticket categories

Categories group tickets (support, reports, appeals, and so on). Each category can point at a Discord category channel and a staff access set. Configure them in /settings → Tickets. Exact field names follow the installed version.

Staff access

Staff roles you select can view ticket channels. Members who are not staff should only see their own ticket. Do not grant the public @everyone role access to the tickets category.

Ticket channels

Each open ticket is a Discord channel. The name and topic format are defined by the implementation. Oxy must be able to create, view, and send messages in that channel.

Closing tickets

Close a ticket through /tickets or the close control on the ticket. Closing may archive or delete the channel depending on configuration. Confirm the behaviour in settings before you rely on it for records.

Ticket logs

When a log channel is set, opens and closes can be written there. Transcript export is only available if your installed version provides it — this page does not assume transcripts exist.
