Suggestions

Suggestion channels, voting, staff responses, status, and logs.

The suggestions module turns a channel into a queue of member ideas. People submit, others vote, staff respond, and the status can change as the idea is reviewed.

  • /suggestionsSubmit or manage suggestions.
  • /settingsChannel, voting, and log configuration.

Creating suggestions

Members run /suggestions or post through the flow your version provides. The suggestion is posted into the configured channel, not into random chat.

Suggestion channels

Pick one channel in /settings → Suggestions. Oxy must be able to post and, if it uses components for voting, to add those components.

Voting

Voting uses the controls Oxy attaches to the suggestion. Vote mechanics (up/down, counts, whether the author can vote) are those of the installed version.

Staff responses and status

Staff can respond on the suggestion and change its status as it moves through review (for example open, accepted, declined) if those statuses exist in your version. Status changes should be visible on the original post.

Logs

Optional logs record new suggestions and status changes. Useful when the public channel is busy.
