Voice playback through Lavalink: queue, skip, pause, resume, volume, DJ.

Oxy can play audio in a voice channel through a Lavalink node configured by the bot operator. This page does not claim support for any specific music provider or catalogue. If a source plays, it is because the Lavalink node accepts it.

  • /musicVoice playback controls.

Joining a voice channel

Join a voice channel, then run /music. Oxy needs Connect and Speak in that channel. If it cannot join, inspect channel overrides and the bot role.

Playback controls

  • Play — start playback of the requested input, if the Lavalink node can resolve it.
  • Queue — items waiting after the current track.
  • Skip — skip the current item, subject to DJ permissions.
  • Pause and resume — halt and continue the current item.
  • Volume — change playback volume within the range the command allows.

DJ permissions

Skip, stop, and similar controls can be limited to a DJ role or to the member who requested the track. Configure this in server settings if the option exists; otherwise Discord channel permissions are the only gate.

Lavalink is a separate audio process. Host, port, and password are operator secrets and must never appear in this website. If /music fails for everyone, the node is usually down, misconfigured, or unreachable from the bot process — that is an operator issue, not a server-settings issue.
